This picture is of one of my bigger Gold Traps I made back in the late 1980s that I never installed! The biggest one that I have made and installed was about 3 times the size of the one in the picture!
My New Gold Traps are now smaller and therefore are a lot easier to set and do NOT require any welding to make. So with my NEW 'Gold Trap' plans (GTK1 & GTK2), you could scale them to what ever size best fits the environment you want to 'Trap' the Gold or other Valuables in that you are looking for and make tens or hundreds of them and start 'Gold Trapping'! With the Gold Trap plans, you could scale them to whatever size(s) that you wanted and then order the different parts, from the drawing and or scaled up or down in size, and then make them yourself! I ordered my parts from a local sheet metal supplier. They cut them to my specs and then I only had finish cutting them and then bend them into shape and then load them up and then place them, see the kit instructions!!! Team up with a buddy and share the work and expenses to set your Gold Trap line(s) and then split the profits! Remember one thing... you can't catch trout in a stream with no trout in it! You have to either set some traps to first scope out an area for potential Placer Gold ahead of time or go to a know Placer Gold area to set your traps! Who knows, you might find a good Placer Gold area previously unknown! Then you could even stake a claim on it!!! You must follow the rules for prospecting on Federal lands, if applicable, and are referenced in the GTK1 & GTK2 Kits.
The GTK1 & GTK2 Kit write-ups address all of these issues and a lot more! Are there any more unknown Placer Gold areas or other valuable areas out there just waiting to be discovered? I believe the answer to that is ABSOLUTELY YES!!! Even in known Placer Gold areas, there are always some 'hot spots' that have better amounts of Gold in them than others and so the same with other potential Placer Valuable Materials. You could even find Valuable Materials other than Gold and then stake a claim on it and then sell it to a mining company that deals with that type of material, like Rare Earth Ores, remember that you are going to collect all of the heavy Placer Material types in the area that you set your Gold Trap in!!! This "Gold Trapping" is a concept that allows "Mother Nature" to do ALL of the work after the Traps have been set!!!
